Man, Spiteful spirit is going to be nasty... lol
I haven't tested it but when I use my pet skills, I don't take Spiteful damage. They probably have fixed that.
I found a bug two days ago. I am not going to report it 'cause it's a good bug. lol

I think this means that the chat window remembers the words in it, e.g. Random arena half way through typing somthing and you go to another map, the words will still be there in the new map, I didnt notice this happening before the update so i think it is what it means.

Yes, I get a black bar across my screen (across the bottom around my skill bar) for the first few moments before I fully load in.

That's right, no more using knight's boots to protect your head

I too am wondering where you got this info from and if it's true or not. If it is true then what would be a horrible change; certainly not one to wink or smile about.

It's a translation thing, more likely, than an actual game change. I'll do some testing tonight, but I'm pretty sure that this would require one helluva update for them to change the armor targeting system.

This translation change seems to have been done for every language except spanish, english and bork bork bork. We can basically ignore the last one though
So why would they change an accurate translation to an inaccurate one? I have not tested it though I must admit, and I wouldn't know how to go about doing it, but as I said: I see no reason why they should replace a correct translation with a wrong one.
Navaros, I don't see how this is horrible. I'm pretty sure that's how it was supposed to work, and if you don't think so, please come up with a way to protect your head with your feet without hindering your movement (I will not use the term "realism" though. This is a game about lightning bolt slinging, blue haired weirdos and giant doglike marauders with an unhealthy obsession for fire.)

Dude, they should have done WAY more things man! A christmas theme had to be there. I mean, halloween rocked with the mad king, and there are too many glitches some places. For the client they should do something so that everyone could be able to download the whole game and not have to load every place. It takes too long for people like me when they are not at their comp and want to play....
Thanks a lot for the information though.

The reason they would change the translation is the same reason that it has been broken since the beginning of the game. Nobody knows, but broken it remains.
Oh, and to dudeofdahouse, the Christmas update is still coming...

If they do have a Christmas update (Which would be retarded since a lot more people celebrate it over Halloween), It would probably go from December 25th to January.

I did notice that too for a short while. ALSO some monsters were spawning late causing a mass of red dots to appear and chase you after you just left the particular area(I'm pretty sure that it wasn't lag). Not to mention that the Henchies were spazzing in Maguuma.
Some of those issues seem to have went away.

I'm fairly sure that this is how it's always been for the various pieces of armor. It's just that now it's spelled out a bit more specifically.

/sigh
It has been proven a multitude of times that damage reduction from Knight's was global. It may not be anymore, but at least know what you're talking about.

It would be a good change. It's stupid to have an armor set in the game that there is no point in wearing.

Hi,
Some thoughts:- Language Issues: Please hit "Support" on the main site (www.guildwars.com) and report the issues that you are having. It sounds very much like a bug to me, so please give us as many details as you can and we will investigate it.
- Armor Update: Everyone's entitled to his/her opinion. Some love it, some are indifferent, some don't care for it. It's ok, really. Why did it take so long? Well, to be honest with you, it fell through the cracks, and there were so many things in the art queue that it just had to wait. Now, don't think that means any disrespect for Necromancers, not at all! It happened, we amended it, thanks for your patience.
- Holiday Update: Yes.
- Holiday Update #2: Oh wait, you'd like more info? Yes, we'll be having one. I don't know what they're doing elsewhere, I really don't. But we aren't the store that brings out the Egg Nog in August or the Easter Candy in December. We prefer to have it in a meaningful timeframe, which means you'll see it close to Christmas and it will extend to just a bit beyond New Year's. I can tell you that it will be a "rolling update," like Halloween, so what you see one day may be totally different the next day. There will be things to do, things to get, items to keep, I truly think you'll love it. Hmmmm... prettty sure we're not going to see the Talking Corpse, Bruce the Herald, or the Mad King this time. Hope to see you there!
